Millions of poverty-ridden families across Pakistan live in slums and this figure continues to rise mainly driven by recurring natural disasters and civil strife as more and more people are left homeless each year.
In areas where houses have either been destroyed or damaged, Human Hope provides basic sturdy housing for the needy families. From steel shelters to concrete dwellings with electricity supply and drainage, Human Hope supports both the displaced and the impoverished.
The Human Hope Housing Programme is intended to provide housing for widows and orphans who can’t otherwise sustain housing on their own.
The cost of one house is £2,000 and it includes two bedrooms, a kitchen and a toilet.
- Plaque names of up to 30 characters are allowed on the house.
- If no name for a house is given in the ‘notes’ of the donation, Human Hope will use the donor name given on the receipt for the plaque.
- The construction of a house takes from 6 to 12 months.
- Completion report will be made at the end of the project. For specific updates, please contact us via email or phone.
