High educational outcomes in Pakistan have traditionally been the preserve of the wealthy and well-off societies. Though in last decade more serious attempts have been made to redress this, literacy rates between the wealthier urban areas and poor rural areas are still hugely disparate.
Human Hope has endeavoured to address this imbalance by consistently providing free education and copies of the Qur’an to poor rural children.
Education itself is crucial to the broader notion of human development. By providing free education – underpinned with an Islamic ethos –children can become beacons for their communities and help them tackle the challenges they face.
