"Whoever digs a well will receive reward for that from Allah on the Day of Judgement when anyone amongst jinn, men and birds drinks from it." – Sahih Bukhari
Human Hope is committed to alleviating the water scarcity crisis in Pakistan by delivering sustainable water programmes. The region's challenges, exacerbated by pollution, droughts, and insufficient urban planning, have resulted in a dire need for reliable access to clean water. Our initiative seeks to provide a lifeline to those affected, ensuring they have the essential resource of potable water.

In the face of Pakistan's escalating water crisis, Human Hope's water programmes are more than just infrastructure projects; they are a fight against disease, poverty, and time lost. By drilling boreholes and installing water wells, we provide communities with access to clean water, reducing the prevalence of waterborne diseases and the financial burden of securing water from private vendors. For just £450, a water hand pump can be installed to serve the needs of families up to 100ft depth. For £650, a water well of up to 180ft can be constructed, and a deep water well for masajid and rural areas, reaching depths of up to 200ft, can be sponsored with a donation of £1,200. Each well can be personalized with a plaque, bearing a name of up to 30 characters, making it a meaningful contribution or a way to honor a loved one. The installation of each unit includes training for local residents on maintenance and education on preserving the cleanliness of the water supply. Construction takes 6 to 8 months, with a detailed completion report provided to donors. For those who wish to make a lasting impact on the lives of Pakistan's lower-income families, providing them with the gift of clean water is a profound act of charity with an enduring legacy.
