“Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach him how to fish and feed him for a lifetime.”
Human Hope’s New Livelihood Interventions aim to create self-reliance through strategic economic empowerment. With the harsh reality of unemployment and poverty affecting millions, especially those in economically insecure households, our projects provide a beacon of hope and a means of survival. Sewing Machine Project (£50): Directly impacting women in low-income areas, we provide sewing machines to enable them to start a career in tailoring, fostering independence and financial stability. Small Business Support (£500): We facilitate the creation of small businesses by providing initial investment and training. From stalls and shops to farming, we strive to turn hard work and enthusiasm into success and self-sufficiency. Rickshaw Initiative (£1,200): To combat unemployment among men, we provide auto rickshaws, giving them the tools to earn a stable income and achieve autonomy. In a country where female-headed households often face significant barriers, widows are the primary recipients of our income-generating schemes. Through these targeted interventions, Human Hope is not just providing temporary assistance but equipping individuals with the skills and resources to thrive for a lifetime.
